The North Adams Solar project began to take shape during 2013.  Over the next 18 months, the team at Apis Energy brought together a diverse group of stakeholders from the Northern Berkshire region, including private landowners and the City officials.  Our goal was finding a suitable location capable of hosting a 2-3MW solar power plant.  Our efforts were rewarded in the Fall of 2014 as we secured two adjacent land parcels strategically located along a a prime utility circuit.  By combining the two sites were have been able to bring over 2,500kW of clean solar power to the residents of the city.
